SAMIA is an AI-based clinical decision support tool, designed exclusively for healthcare professionals. Its purpose is to provide guidance for disease classification, but it does not make diagnoses or prescribe treatments, nor does it replace the professional's clinical assessment in any way.
The healthcare professional is solely responsible for the care decisions they make and how they interpret and use the recommendations generated by SAMIA. The app should not be used by patients or individuals without healthcare qualifications, nor for purposes other than professional clinical practice.
No personally identifiable patient data should be entered into SAMIA. Use of the app implies acceptance of these Terms of Use and the limitations of liability established by the service provider in accordance with applicable Spanish law.

Privacy Policy
SAMIA only processes basic identification data and professional contact (e.g., name and email address) to manage your registration, allow secure access to the app, maintain the service, and provide technical support.
No personal data of patients is collected or processed through the app. Your data is not used for advertising purposes nor is it transferred to third parties for their own purposes; it may only be accessible to technology providers acting as data processors and to the authorities when there is a legal obligation.
The main legal basis is the performance of the service you request when registering, along with compliance with legal obligations. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, as well as file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). SAMIA only uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the proper functioning and security of the app, such as keeping you logged in, managing authentication, and remembering certain basic usage preferences.
We do not use analytical, advertising, or third-party cookies (there is no tracking for commercial purposes or profiling of the user). Therefore, these technical cookies are exempt from consent according to Spanish and European regulations, although we inform you of their existence for transparency.
